Younga Yarns — Early Learning Programs (Kindergarten)

Younga Yarns, led by Melanie Kemp, delivers culturally grounded early learning programs designed to support young children in developing respect, connection, and understanding of Aboriginal perspectives. These courses are created in alignment with First Nations cultural knowledge and are structured to be both engaging for children and practical for educators.

The Kindergarten programs use storytelling, play-based learning, movement, and connection to Country to introduce key concepts such as identity, relationships, respect, and care for the environment. Each program is supported by educator guidance to ensure cultural learning is delivered in a way that is appropriate, respectful, and meaningful.

These courses are designed to integrate into early learning environments, helping educators confidently embed Aboriginal perspectives into everyday teaching while supporting children to build social, emotional, and cultural awareness.
